Accreditation
The Global Addiction Therapeutics Innovation Day (GATID), taking place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, 30 September 2026, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 5.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s).
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process of converting EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found on the AMA website.
Live educational activities taking place outside Canada that are recognized by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes. A certificate of attendance will be sent by email after the conference once the post-congress evaluation survey has been completed. Certificates are issued only to participants who have attended the conference, met the required conditions (to be communicated prior to the congress), and have paid their registration fee in full. Participants with outstanding payments will receive their certificate after payment has been completed.
EACCME® credits
Credits are awarded based on actual participation, with one hour of participation equalling one ECMEC®.
The maximum number of credits available for attending GATID is 5.0 ECMEC®s.
Participants can only receive credits for the sessions they actually attend. Further information about attendance tracking and the post-congress evaluation will be communicated before the congress.
