Information for e-poster presenters

Find the practical information you need to prepare, upload and present your e-poster at ISAM 2026, including format requirements, SlideCrew, technical support and what to expect during the congress.

E-poster format & deadlines

Format & language

All accepted posters will be presented digitally. Printed posters are not required and will not be displayed during the congress.

Your e-poster must meet the following requirements:

  • A0 size in portrait orientation;
  • a single-page PDF;
  • high-resolution graphics and images;
  • a clear and readable layout.

All e-posters must be in English.

Upload & session details

Upload your final e-poster to SlideCrew no later than 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled e-poster session.

All e-poster presenters are assigned a presentation time. Please check the e-poster presentation schedule in advance to find your scheduled time and presentation details.

Preparing your e-poster

Please review all three sections before preparing and uploading your e-poster.

A clear scientific e-poster will usually include:

  • title;
  • authors and affiliations;
  • introduction;
  • objectives;
  • methods;
  • results;
  • discussion;
  • conclusions;
  • references, where relevant;
  • acknowledgements and disclosures, where applicable.

You may adapt this structure where necessary to suit your research and abstract.

Your e-poster should communicate your research clearly and efficiently. Attendees may spend only a few minutes viewing each poster, so a simple and well-organised design is essential.

To keep your e-poster clear and readable:

  • focus on one main scientific message;
  • present only the most relevant information;
  • use clear headings to separate sections;
  • keep text concise and avoid long paragraphs;
  • use body text of at least 24 pt;
  • use high-quality figures, graphs and tables;
  • ensure sufficient contrast between text and background colours;
  • avoid overcrowding the poster with unnecessary information.

Figures and graphs are often more effective than lengthy written explanations. Make sure that graphs and tables can also be understood without extensive supporting text.

Before uploading your e-poster, check that:

  • the document is saved as a single-page PDF;
  • the page is set to A0 portrait orientation;
  • all fonts are embedded correctly;
  • images are sharp and not pixelated;
  • graphs and tables remain readable when enlarged;
  • author names and affiliations are correct;
  • logos are displayed correctly;
  • spelling and grammar have been checked;
  • acknowledgements and disclosures are included where applicable.

The maximum permitted file size will be shown in the SlideCrew upload portal.

Animations and interactive elements are not supported in PDF format.

All e-poster presenters are required to present their e-poster during an assigned presentation session.

Please be present at the designated e-poster display at your scheduled time and be prepared to briefly explain your main findings and answer questions.

SlideCrew & technical support

Upload via SlideCrew

ISAM 2026 uses SlideCrew as its official platform for managing presentations and e-posters.

Uploading your e-poster in advance helps ensure that it is available on the correct digital display during the congress.

SlideCrew also checks your file for compatibility, embedded fonts, resolution and display quality.

Speaker Slide Centre

SlideCrew staff will be available in the Speaker Slide Centre throughout the congress.

Visit the Speaker Slide Centre to:

All accepted e-posters will be available digitally during the congress and displayed on the designated digital screens.

Attendees will be able to view your e-poster throughout the congress. A clear layout, concise text and readable figures will help visitors understand your research quickly.

Your poster assignment and display details will be available in your SlideCrew account closer to the congress.

Some e-posters may be included in a scheduled poster discussion or moderated poster session.

Please review the details in your SlideCrew account and be present at the assigned time if a session has been scheduled for your poster.
